Contest Details
To celebrate 20 years of flying, SilkAir invites you to submit your best travel images taken from any one of SilkAir's 31 destinations. You just need a keen eye and the spirit of an explorer. Of course you also need to have visited and taken a photo from at least one of SilkAir's 31 destinations.
For this photo competition there is just one category; we are simply looking for the best images taken from any one of SilkAir's 31 Asian destinations. Only images taken from these 31 locations should be entered into the contest. Images taken in all other places will not be eligible. You should submit photos that evoke a sense of - I'd like to go there! Image content should depict only positive aspects of the location and inspire people to travel and explore.
Round 1
A panel of world-renowned photography experts (the "Judges") will each review a portion of the entries and select a group of entries to proceed to Round Two based on the following criteria.
1. Relevance to the theme - SilkAir desitinations
2. Technical execution
3. Originality & impact
4. Composition
5. Content & evocative quality of the image
If your image is shortlisted for Round 2, you will be required to provide and upload a high resolution (300 dpi) version of the image.
Round 2
Each Judge will score the final shortlisted entries. The combined scores will then determine the overall winner and the 1st and 2nd Runners-up.
