Smithtown Township Arts Council presents A Pinch and A Dash seeking to examine the American woman's changing role in the kitchen, from rural times when a woman's biscuits defined her reputation, to twentieth century ready -made preparation. This exhibit calls for works that exemplify women's role in the kitchen or reveal how this role has changed to meet new challenges of American society, from providing sustenance for the family, to maintaining ethnic traditions to natural & organic awareness. All media considered.
