The Connecticut Valley Regional Ballet Company Inc. and
The Ethel Walker School invite all interested photographers to submit entries into an international photography contest that celebrates the beauty, grace and athleticism of dance.

The judges will select imagery which captures the essence of dance. Moving moments played against dramatic light and unique settings bring the viewers into a world of diverse elements with universal appeal. We are truly appreciative of the time and talent of our participants.

Contest entry dates:
June 1, 2008–February 1, 2009

Entry deadline:
February 1, 2009

• Each contestant may submit up to 3 entries (black and white or color)
• Each photograph must be 8" x 10" (please use high quality photographic paper)
• If submitting more than one photograph, each photograph must be numbered on the back to correspond with the listing on the application form
• All contestants must submit a completed application with their entries

There are 3 age divisions in this contest:
High School: grades 9-12
College: students 18 and up
Adult

Each division will be awarded three prizes: 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. All winners will receive graduated monetary prizes and certificates appropriate to their places.

The submitted print becomes the property of the The Connecticut Valley Regional Ballet Company, Inc. (C.V.R.B.) and will be displayed as part of its permanent collection (all rights to the original image remain with the artist).
